Dulce de Leche Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting – Only 3 Ingredients!

OhhMyGod.

My prayers have been answered!

Finally a frosting that is not overpowering sweet and powdered sugar-tasting, yet is nice and fluffy, perfect for piping and the delce de leche makes it absolutely delicious!

Do it.

I’m telling you this stuff is good.

And by the way I’m not sharing a cupcake recipe today because…well… the cupcakes didn’t turn out the way I wanted them too.

Now, don’t get me wrong they were really tasty, very fluffy, chocolaty with a hint of cinnamon, but I wanted more.

I wanted something extraordinary.

And well the frosting stole the show!

One spoonful of the frosting and I pretty much had an orgasm right then and there.

I’m kidding, kinda.

But I definitely needed a moment to myself.

A moment to admire the glory of this!

You can put it on a chocolate cupcake, vanilla, tres leches, yellow cake, white cake, anycake, just make it and you’ll know what I mean.

It’s awesome :)

Dulce de Leche Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting

Makes a big batch of frosting!

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup dulce de leche
  • 2 cups heavy cream, cold

Directions:

In a bowl with your electric mixer beat the cream cheese until fluffy (1-2mins).

Add the dulce de leche and beat to combine.

Add the heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form. Frost your cupcakes!

Notes: As this frosting sits, it softens! So if that happens, just stick it in the fridge for 5 mins then beat with your mixer until fluffy :)

  1. My goodness woman! I’m surprised you’re not the size of a house! I haven’t tried this recipe but I have had very good dulce de leche and as it is, it’s decadent. And you want me to put it with cream cheese and heavy cream? All together? Holy moley, that’s the equivalent to a venti caramel mocha! I drank an alto caramel mocha at Starbuckeroos the other day and just felt like I literally had sex with myself. It was pretty awesome.
